Summit Forge LabsStart with one operation

Team

Small team. Clear roles. No fake scale.

Summit Forge Labs is built around a practical operator model: one accountable owner, a structured AI council, and hard approval gates around risky action. The point is not to look bigger than it is. The point is to make the work more checkable.

Who does the work

Josh

Founder / Operator, Summit Forge Labs

Josh leads Summit Forge Labs with an operator’s bias: start with the messy workflow, find the handoff gaps, keep the source evidence visible, and only automate what is clear enough to trust. The work is shaped around contractor and service-business realities: scattered records, field-to-office drift, missing approvals, and admin systems that need to be understandable before they become automated.

Chair / Synthesizer

AI Council Layer

The Chair / Synthesizer is SFL’s AI council layer. It helps break work into roles, gather input from specialist agents, surface disagreement, separate facts from assumptions, and prepare clear next actions for Josh to approve. It can draft, plan, critique, and package work. It does not replace human ownership, and it does not execute risky external actions without approval.

How the roles fit

One owner, one council layer, clear approval gates.

SFL uses AI heavily, but not as a black box. The council helps move work faster; the approval gate keeps risky action from being treated as automatic. Prepared work and executed work are different states.

  • Joshsets direction, approves risk, owns the public decision
  • Chair / Synthesizerorganizes agent work and packages the recommendation
  • Specialist agentsresearch, write, build, test, verify, and red-team within defined limits
  • Approval gatestops deploys, messages, account changes, spend, deletion, and external action until approved

No borrowed credibility

What we will not fake.

SFL will not dress an AI-assisted workflow as a giant agency, invent team members, inflate client claims, or hide the approval boundary. The work should be strong enough to stand on the evidence.
